I founded Rätt Skatt, a fintech platform that helps students and seasonal workers maximize their tax returns by making the right deductions. I built the automated backend with a seamless integration with Skatteverket while also leading marketing, customer acquisition, and growth strategies to scale the company.
By replacing fragmented manual tax processes with a fully automated ecosystem, Rätt Skatt enables users to make the right deductions and increase their income tax returns. At the same time, automation reduces errors, saves time, and streamlines operations internally.
The challenge
Tax declarations in Sweden are often confusing and time-consuming. Many students and seasonal workers miss deductions they are entitled to, resulting in smaller tax returns. On the operational side, manual workflows made scaling inefficient and error-prone.
The Solution
I developed an automated backend that integrates directly with Skatteverket, Swish, Firebase (Backend development), and Pipedrive (CRM). The system ensures deductions are applied correctly, while marketing and growth initiatives spread awareness of the service. I also developed an affiliate system that pays the customer directly via Swish when referring a friend. Customers benefit from a simple, intuitive interface, while the backend executes declarations and invoicing without manual work.
