Data & Digital Solutions

As a Cost and Process Engineer at Volvo Group, I performed sharp cost calculations for lithium battery production as well as other truck components. In this process, I set cost targets and prepared breakdowns for both new projects and existing parts. Beyond calculations, I also developed more efficient processes that streamlined workflows, reduced manual effort, and strengthened overall operations within the global cost engineering team.

Driving Process Efficiency

By simplifying repetitive tasks and improving the way cost information was shared, I helped reduce inefficiencies and made collaboration across sites smoother. This allowed engineers to focus more on analysis and strategic priorities instead of administration.

Enabling Data-Driven Decisions

Through detailed cost breakdowns and integration of sustainability metrics, I created insights that gave managers a clearer understanding of trade-offs in major projects. My work supported sourcing negotiations and investment discussions, helping decision-makers act with greater confidence and precision.

Building Tools for Long-Term Impact

I developed automated solutions and calculation models that continue to be used by the team beyond my own projects. These tools improved the reliability of data, reduced manual workload, and established a more scalable way of working that benefits both current and future cost engineering initiatives.
